German Spruce / Bocote OM -- 1 13/16" Nut

The idea of a "RoadTrip Guitar" is to give individuals the chance to play one of my instruments who might not otherwise have the opportunity. The big limiting factor with luthier-built guitars is that they are not very accessible unless you are within driving distance of the builder.

Each participant will be shipped the guitar and have 4 days with the instrument before it is shipped to the next person on the list.

I do have a few caveats and addendums. I am taking precautions to make sure I don't fall victim to fraud in this endeavor. As such, I will need to verify each participant's identity. I am requesting that all participants send me a $65 check to cover the shipping to the next person on the list. When it is time to ship the guitar, I will email a UPS shipping label that you can affix to the shipping box.

Put "RoadTrip Guitar" in the memo and send a check to:

I have a few more requests to all participants...
You must be able to provide an environment with the proper humidity (40% to 55% RH). The guitar should also be stored in its humidity controlled Ameritage case when not in use.

Please do not adjust the action or neck relief.

If you wish to re-string the guitar with a different string brand, please use light or light-medium gauge strings -- no mediums.

Please be careful with the instrument. I fully expect some damage to occur but exercise caution whenever possible - especially, in who you let play the guitar. (5 year old Rambo’s should be avoided like the plague.) In this vein, I will include a static pickguard that can be used to prevent damage.

I would like the guitar to remain at each location for about 4 days and then move onto the next participant. Please pack the instrument in the same way it was shipped to you.
